“Current research shows that a connection to the natural world is important to children's healthy growth and development. As that connection diminishes, we're seeing increases in problems like childhood obesity, dislike and even fear of the outdoors, and behavioral problems. So, as the beautiful spring-like weather makes its way into the South, look for ways to go beyond your usual outdoor playtime and seize every opportunity to take learning outside.”
-Southern Early Childhood Association

The KWILD classroom at St. David's strives to achieve this goal. Out students have been outside each and every day that we have had class since September 2012.
