Tuesday/Thursday Friends Find Slugs!

Being silly after enjoying lunch in the courtyard.

 

We added some chalk art to the beautiful courtyard.

What will you find in our bug boxes?

Slugs!

Our wild ones found about 10 slugs by rolling over logs. 

We also discovered Chickadee eggs in our bird box near Messy Materials!

We ended the day by celebrating our friend's half birthday with a neat science book!

Wednesday Friends Enjoy Class in the Courtyard

At meeting of the day we talk about praying mantises, ladybugs, grasshoppers, dragonflies, ants, and honey bees. 

After we play a fun game of "Bug Swat," we decorate bug boxes.

Our scientists made their bug boxes very colorful in order to attract the bugs!

Time to play at Messy Materials!

Ahoy! We found some pirates aboard the ship.

We ended class with a yummy picnic in the courtyard.
