November Up-Date

                                              We have been having great fun this month
                                              learning about parts of a tree, parts of a leaf,
                                               and why leaves change colors! Ask your
                                                    child if green is a leaf's true color!

October Wrap-up

We have been very busy this past month!  We spent the entire month learning about pumpkins! We learned first hand about their life cycle from seed to fruit and were able to see this process happening right in front of our eyes in our own classroom garden. That along with music every day in circle, yoga every day in circle (we will be learning new poses that go along with the Alphabet all year),  playing, learning and growing in our beloved Messy Materials area, having 2 special birthday readers, a fun Clifford Dinner, a visit from the Ashburn FD, our spectacular second annual Dad's Night, and ending the month with a fun Halloween celebration. We enjoyed a jam-packed, fun-filled month!!

Dad's Night 2013

Our second annual Dad's Night was a huge success. The children invited their dads to explore our outdoor classroom. Dads and children had a scavenger hunt, played in Messy Materials area, learned the yoga tree pose, and enjoyed some hot apple cider around the fire pit.

We decorated the pumpkins for Dad's night.
