A Change is Coming....

Enjoy the beautiful colors of flower petals and green leaves...we all know the fall change is upon us. We enjoyed the beautiful church garden and found a frog for toad...

The final warm days of autum provided us with comfortable outdoor playtime.

But, get the jackets ready! Our K-Wild group loves to be outdoors, and chilly tempatures will not stop their search for adventure.

Or bug collecting...

Let's welcome our change in season with  open hearts and warm hands!

K-Wild Under Construction

Get your hammers and shovels ready to go...our K-Wild team of engineers is ready for work!

Nature is the perfect place to built and create.  Our hands on team of young construction geniuses are ready for work...

There is no job too small for these handy kids. They are so excited to create and built outdoors.

They are also very good painters...washable (of course)

There is really no limit to their creative ability! They have the tools and ability to succeed.

Watch out world...we are ready to build!

Hug a Tree

"Time spend amongst trees, is never time wasted" Our outdoor classroom has provided us the best teacher ever...the tree! We have spent hours collecting acorns, leaves, black walnuts, bark, fungus, watching squirrels, birds, hawks, mice, toads and bugs! Yes, the trees are awesome at St. David's!

We built a wrecking ball out of a pulley and hippity hop and have fun building under the trees!

Tree climbing is a great skill for our growing explorers.

Meet Our 2015 Class of Friends

Our 2015 K-Wild year is off to an amazing start! Our outdoor classroom is a perfect setting to run, climb and make new friends.
Exploring the giant dirt pile is one of the most popular activities. The local inhabitant, Mr. Toad ( or Hoppy ) was our first discovery. Everyone wanted a turn to hold him...

Then we decided to build him a proper house.

Needless to say, Mr. Toad got a lot of attention. It is so wonderful to experience animals in their natural environments!
We were really lucky to get a visit from this furry friend, as well!

Don't worry...we passed on holding him. But, followed him around as long as he would allow us. Our last great spotting of the week was a magestic hawk! This picture really does not even show how grand he is...we hope to see him again soon.
