Snow for Friday Class. December 13, 2013

The Friday class explored outdoors in the snow.  While taking a walk on our nature path, we stopped to observe the holes we saw and guessed what animals may be living there!

Oh what fun we had playing outdoors in the snow!

 We took a walk on our nature path looking for animal tracks. 

 We found deer, rabbit and  raccoon tracks.

November Up-Date

                                              We have been having great fun this month
                                              learning about parts of a tree, parts of a leaf,
                                               and why leaves change colors! Ask your
                                                    child if green is a leaf's true color!

October Wrap-up

We have been very busy this past month!  We spent the entire month learning about pumpkins! We learned first hand about their life cycle from seed to fruit and were able to see this process happening right in front of our eyes in our own classroom garden. That along with music every day in circle, yoga every day in circle (we will be learning new poses that go along with the Alphabet all year),  playing, learning and growing in our beloved Messy Materials area, having 2 special birthday readers, a fun Clifford Dinner, a visit from the Ashburn FD, our spectacular second annual Dad's Night, and ending the month with a fun Halloween celebration. We enjoyed a jam-packed, fun-filled month!!
