Wednesday Friends form a Penguin Relay Team

Check out our tree cookie kingdoms!

We continue to learn about what makes penguins unique.

We experience life as penguins by working together in a penguin relay race.

The pillow represents the blubber and the plates represent webbed feet.

We discovered that being a penguin is harder than it looks...

...but it sure is fun!

We are bundled up and ready for Messy Materials!

Our Messy Materials is a winter wonderland.

Meet our new penguin friends!

Tuesday/Thursday Friends Talk About Arctic Animals

We talk about what makes Arctic animals unique from non-Arctic animals.

This animal has blubber, so we know it is an Arctic Animal!

Do you think a giraffe could live in Arctic conditions?

We love playing "True or False" to learn more about Arctic animals.

We take a closer look at the animals tracks in the snow.

These tracks lead to a tree. Do you think they are from a raccoon?

It looks like our deer friends also paid us a visit!

We enjoy a special story for our friend's birthday.

Let's get messy and paint snowmen using shaving cream "snow!"

This hole might lead to a rabbit or snake burrow!

I spy two little huskies playing in the Arctic Tundra.
