We had a wonderful second week in the K-Wild classroom. We were blessed with A-mazing weather as fall seems to be nipping at our heels. This week we talked about friends and what it takes to be a friend. How are we all alike and how are we all different?
We learned a great song about friends and even chose a tree friend! We were introduced to our journals and spent some time in the shade of an ash tree. Ms. Theresa and Ms. Kathy were really satisfied with the progress that our "wild-things" have made. Thank you for sharing this vision with us and we look forward to many wonderful adventures! There is a fun Autumn festival this week in the hamlet of Bluemont. It is a great family outing if you are looking for some fun in the outdoors this weekend.
Kudo's to the teachers whose spirits are free to stomp in the mud, mingle with the bugs, share the same ground with wild animals, get hot, sweaty, and dirty and dare to share it all with our little ones. And btw, I'm borrowing your Rain poem for my kindergarten class!!! You all are the BEST!!!!
